Simply 60km south of connected Cochin lies a space of extreme serenity — probably the most lovely backwaters in India. Go to the Allapuzha locale and bounce on a conventional wooden houseboat to investigate the green Alleppey, otherwise called the Venice of the East district of India, in full. The visit begins with a morning inn taking you to the boarding region. Start your voyage of Alleppey and float past rich paddy fields, fragrant coconut ranches, and interesting cultivating towns, and the sky is the limit from there. At 12 pm a delightful Keralan lunch will be served installed — and you will get to appreciate nearby treats with the setting of lovely waterscapes. At 1.30 pm the journey reaches a conclusion and you jump once more into a comfortable airconditioned vehicle for an exchange back to your inn.
